Standardized Broccoli Extract Veggie Caps

Cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli have been associated with antioxidant and cellular protection. BroccoMax® contains a standardized concentration of sulforaphane glucosinolate extracted (without solvents) from broccoli seeds. Sulforaphane glucosinolate is metabolized to sulforaphane (isothiocyanate), which is a highly reactive antioxidant. In extensive studies, sulforaphane has been demonstrated to be a potent inducer of phase 2 detoxifying enzymes and protector of DNA. Each capsule of BroccoMax® contains 30 mg of sulforaphane glucosinolate, a concentration at least 20 times greater than that found in the full-grown broccoli plant.

Bromelain is a protein-digesting enzyme extracted from pineapple sap and stem. Bromelain is classified as a proteolytic enzyme because of its ability to digest proteins. Bromelain affects protein turnover in the body, including proteins found in joint tissue.
