L-Carnitine is an amino acid found in high concentrations in heart and liver tissues, where, inside the cells (mitochondria), L-Carnitine helps transform fats into energy. Coenzyme Q10 is an important antioxidant also found in high concentration in human heart and liver tissue, particularly in the inner mitochondrial membrane where cell energy is produced. Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5) also participates in the production of energy by the mitochondria. Lecithin facilitates the absorption of Co-Q10 and carnitine.
