Relaxation, along with restful sleep, are essential for general well being. Jarrow FORMULAS® StressTame® is designed to assist in relaxation and stress reduction. Research shows that stress affects brain function, compromises immune response and raises cortisol production.

StressTame® promotes relaxation, tranquility and restful sleep. Apigenin is a flavonoid naturally occurring in plants. L-Theanine is an amino acid found in green tea. Both nutrients have a calming effect.

NACSUSTAIN® is in a bilayer Quick Release / Sustained Release format of N-ACETYL-L-CYSTEINE(NAC), a powerful antioxidant amino acid and a precursor to the critical antioxidant glutathione. Glutathione exerts a variety of protective effects, including detoxification and intracellular defense against oxidative stress. Substances known to reduce glutathione status are acetaminophen and alcohol.

Take 2 StressTame® capsules 30 minutes before bedtime, or as directed by your qualified health care consultant. Two capsules may be emptied into a cup of boiling hot water to make tea.

WARNING: Do not drive or operate machinery after taking this supplement. Do not take with alcohol, benzodiazipenes, anti-depressants or pain medications.

Take 1 to 2 tablets per day, preferably on an empty stomach with fruit juice, or as directed by your qualified health care consultant.
